Car Photos
Well, you can't work all the time!!!
Usually our time away from 'the office' is spent doing something with our British Sportscars. We'll be adding to this page. If you have an interesting picture, why not e-mail it to us. Photos should be clear, and in JPG format. We'll publish the best shots here as this page is updated.
This
100-6 is a real beauty. It's owned by one of our local sportscar enthusiasts. He
has done a full (and we mean FULL) restoration job on this car. It's the rare
Mille Miglia model, you can see the styling crease in the center of the hood
(bonnet).
The mechanical side of the car is all business. The 3.0+ litre Healey engine has been 'warmed up', and features triple SU carbs, and a host of HP enhancing parts under the hood.
The owner has done all of his own work too! A very tastefully done Big Healey, this car has received all of the correct 'period' modifications. Rally style fender vents (traced off an original works Healey) help to keep things cool on those hot summer nights. Well done! (check out the video of this car on the 'Racing Stuff' page)
The
license plate says it all!!
Another local enthusiast caught this 'Cat' and all the enjoyment that goes along with it.
Actually, it's unusual to see most of these cars sitting still. In the summer months, all of our local enthusiasts would far rather be out for a top down cruise...
This
is the President's car - the president of Obsolete Automotive that is!
It's a 1974 TR6 with all the good stuff like original Lucas Fuel Injection (!!) and overdrive. All the various maintenance tasks required to keep this British hot-rod in top shape are actually performed by Mike, our president.
So when you read those tech articles, you can be assured they are all based on personal experience!
We
caught this one at a Vintage Race at Mosport Park (about an hour east of
Toronto, Canada).
Midgets are great fun, but tend to be a little short on trunk space. This innovative owner came up with his own solution. But is it coming...or going??!!
